These rugged, highly efficient furnaces are designed for melting such metals as aluminum, brass, silver and gold. They combine fast melting with simple, quiet operation.
The furnaces are made of heavy gauge steel. The furnace linings are of highest quality super-duty hard-burned firebrick backed with over 2" of high temperature insulation to reduce heat loss and provide comfortable working conditions.
Controls, blower and safety equipment are contained in an attractive, adjustable metal console, protected from dust and shop hazards. Console is specially sound-proofed for quiet operation. Other features include: push-button lighting, low furnace height, special furnace lid that allows operator to charge crucible through the lid and Johnson Safety Systems.

FOUNDRY PYROMETER
Accurately measures temperature of non-ferrous metals by immersing protected thermocouple in the melt. Furnished with 8" of thermocouple and 25 ft. lead wire. Scale range - 0°F. to 2500°F. For use with crucible furnaces. Shipping weight - 15 lbs.
TONGS AND SHANKS
Fixed bank single end and bent handle crucible shanks and crucible tongs are available. When ordering, specify crucible size for which they will be used. Call for price quote.
