Bench Soldering Furnaces

The standard for school and industry since 1901

Rugged and Versatile
Bench Soldering Furnaces

No. 118 (left), No. 101 (center), No. 112 (right) (Number 108 not shown)

These rugged, versatile furnaces have been the most popular all around furnaces for both industry and schools for over 80 years.

Designed to heat soldering coppers, these versatile furnaces are also used for heat treating, tempering, case hardening, forging and soft metal melting. They are equipped with powerful Johnson patented Auto-Blast bunsen burners (each with shut-off valve and pilot light).

The furnaces are made of heavy cast iron and the fireboxes (except No.112) are lined with high quality refractory. The shelf at the rear of the firebox forms a rest and protects points of soldering coppers. The patented curve shaped hood forces returned blast over tops of irons or parts being treated. No.118 includes a cast iron melting pot.
