Johnson multi-purpose furnaces incorporate various heat treating, drawing, and liquid bath furnaces into single units; versatility is thereby achieved at low cost in minimum floor space. Furnace blowers and piping are located beneath benches, to further utilize space.
NO. 252 TRIPLE-TREAT FURNACE
Compact combination unit provides a complete heat treating set-up including No. 568 pot type furnace for lead, cyanide, and salt hardening; No. 142 oven-type furnace for hardening carbon and high speed steels (temperature range of 1300° F. to 2350°F.), and No. 175 atmospheric drawing furnace (temperatures up to 1150°F.).
NO. 258 DUO FURNACE
This popular furnace combination includes the powerful Johnson No. 142 Oven Furnace for hardening (temp. range: 1300° F. to 2350° F.) and the Johnson No. 175 atmospherically fired furnace for pre-heating and drawing (temp. range: 400° F. to 1150° F.). Parts being heat treated can be easily transferred from one furnace to another.
